The Royal Massacre: "International Investigation Commission"
Required. (Take Urgent Action Online Now)
After the Dangerous and Tragedic Royal Massacre which took place at the 'Narayanhity
Royal Palace', Kathmandu, Nepal on 1 June, 2001 night assassinating 10 senior
members of Royal Family including the King Birendra, Queen Aishwerya, Crown
Prince (later King) Dipendra and their whole family; the second brother of King
Birendra, His Majesty Gyanendra is coroneted as the King of the Nation. The
Present King, H.M. Gyanendra also formed a two member 'High Level Probe
Commission' headed by Chief-Justice Keshav Prashad Upadhya and followed by
Speaker of House of Representatives Taranath Ranabhat. With the investigation of
one week, the Commission published the 'Report of the Royal Massacre (it is
posted on:

on 14 June, 2001.
Actually, the Report of the Probe Commission clearly states the story of the
Massacre. The Report of 200 pages is only a book of Story and Drama, it means it
contains only the accounts/views of Eyewitness, Specialists, etc.; but it
doesn't state the cause of the Massacre. Only with the accounts and the views of
Eyewitness and others, the Commission has proved that the late King Dipendra was
responsible for the Massacre. But, more than 75% Nepali people are not believing
it. They are not satisfied with the Report of the Probe Commission. By this
cause, different kinds of movements are running in Nepal. But, on the other
hand, the Government is stopping the people to run peaceful movements taking the
'Public Safety Regulations' and various Orders.
As this Massacre is internationally publicized, it is not good to dismiss the
case by only the National Standard Probe Commission. Not only the Nepali people,
but also the International Community will also may not be satisfied only with
the report of National Standard Commission, which also doesn't clarify the root
cause of the Massacre. Without the Cause, the Report may not be complete.
At this Situation, Nepali people and many international Communities are
demanding the 'International Standard Investigation Commission' with the
involvement of International Standard Investigators. It is also most necessary
to find the truth by fair and independent International Investigation
Commission, after that everyone has to accept the Report (if it became same like
the National Standard Probe Commission) at any way. It is also necessary for
Nepal to save it's identity and integrity in front of the International
Communities. If it is not done, the International Communities may think Nepal as
the Country of Terrorists and Murderers.
So, I request all our Nepali Brothers and Sisters including all the
International Communities to take 'An Urgent Action' for the formation of the
'International Investigation Commission' now. Please, Take Urgent Actions now
