What Nepal Needs Now

Few years ago the word “Nepal “ would substitute the word “Peace”.  But, with a bowed head and ashamed soul I say today it can’t be said so. The souls of our good leaders of Nepal are certainly not happy with the present scenario.  What a shame!  Anyways, lets get to the point.

I loved my late King. When I was a child my grandmother used to say,” he is a living God.” I believe it. I miss him. I pray to God that their souls rest in peace.

I was shattered to hear the heartbreaking news that our beloved King, Queen and other members of the royal Family died. It was hard to believe but that was the reality. Whatever has happened inside the palace in that fateful night of June 1st, 2001 is certainly a worst thing that could happen to a country especially when it was going through its BAD TIMES.  I don’t know what led to the massacre of the entire Royal family and I don’t know who did it. What I know is that this will never forgotten by any Nepali. We should try our level best to find out the real thing behind it.

There have been rumors, changing statements and unclear news trying to put us in confusion and disarray. That’s ok but the worst part is that we are confused and we are doing the things that they want us to do.
The time has come when we have to be together being determined to our goal and ignore the disturbances and decide what we really want.

Pains, difficulties, death, love, joy, happiness, sorrows, accomplishments etc are the phases of life. We have to take it in our hearts and go along, move ahead hands in hands for the betterment of our country. At this point of insurgencies, confusion and pain of loosing someone who was dear to us, we have to strengthen ourselves and do the right actions, which will lead Nepal and Nepalese to its known peace and prosperity.

When we look back in the history, whenever any country has faced a big loss, it has either made itself more powerful and better or ruined itself. Today, we have the challenge.  Today is the time to decide whether we want to make our country or wreck it. Today is the time to show that we Nepalese believe in writing our destiny by our own hands. Today is the time to be patient, observant and united.
Today is the time to prove, “ we love Nepal.”

We all know it’s hard but now is the time to hold back our sentiments, emotions and work for the stability in the country so that we enjoy the results tomorrow. I just say to myself it was a dreadful dream of reality and somehow convince myself that within few hours that the new morning will come again with the same old good sunshine.

Lets pray to GOD to give us the power to fight the barriers, good intelligence to decide things, sharp mind to think right and the vision to see tomorrow’s sunshine.

These days every Nepali is afraid to sleep because he doesn’t know what Nepal will be loosing tomorrow. I am sick of this uncertainty and chaos, aren’t you?
I want to make the word ”Nepal”, a synonym for the word “Peace” again, don’t you?
